She has a large mixed media wall installation piece called Gyre, a gyre is a force of nature meaning a spiral vortex, such as a swirling tornado or hurricane or more specifically The Great Pacific Garbage Patch. This is also called the Pacific Gyre and consists of civilization’s refuse and litter being wind driven by surface currents which become trapped in a large region in the Pacific Ocean.
